Suparna Roy's present work profile of D.Net is-

A. Operational Activities
1. Capacity Building
•  Develop training implementation plan
•  Monitor training process
•  Develop evaluation method and apply for trainee and trainer
•  Prepare Evaluation report

B. Project/Programme Based Responsibilities:
•  Impact of ICT carried Livelihood Information on Rural Communities of Bangladesh
•  Telecentre Support Network related activities
•  Training and capacity Building of telecentre entrepreneurs and infomediary
•  Impact assessment of Access to Information for Improvement of Rural Livelihood
•  Conduct research on possibility of establishment of such centre with peoples' communication mapping
•  Conducting Training for research capacity building
•  Socio-anthropological analysis of impact of ICTs on rural community, based on current projects in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka
•  Any other job assigned by the management.



Education:
M.S.S
: Masters in Sociology from the dept. of Sociology, University of Dhaka in 2004.

B.S.S (4 years Honours)
: B.S.S Honour's in Sociology from the dept. of Sociology, University of Dhaka in 2002. .

H.S.C.(Humanities)
: Obtained First Division securing 68.3% marks from Jessore Board.

S.S.C (Arts )
: Obtained First Division securing 79.9% marks from Jessore Board .


Academic Research paper :
•  A social survey on the topic of " Rights of women in their inherited property - a sociological analysis" under supervision of Dr.Taslima Monsur, Ex Dean, Law Faculty, University of Dhaka .
•  A survey on the" cultural aspects of the people of old Dhaka city".


Participation in international workshop :
•  Participate in an international workshop on How can ICT tools be integrated to reduce the poverty line , organized by MSSRF in Chennai , India .


Areas of interest :

Ms. Suparna Roy's main areas of interest are rural & urban development, gender, culture, human rights, information and mass communication technology, policy and religion. As a student of sociological background she wants to work in human resources development oriented job using her educational knowledge skill and experience acquired with Zeal and vigour of youthness.
