- Conduct research on functional literacy;

- Work with Pallitathya field management team in developing communication strategy and implementation;
- Work with D.Net audio-visual team in developing audio-visual content;
- Coordinate the Teletathya (Help-Line) team; and
- Performing any other task assigned by the management relevant to D.Net’s core activities.

Professional Experience:
Shumon has a background in internet technologies and worked in a wide range of industries. He has worked for financial institutions such as UBS as a help desk administrator and Goldman Sachs as a project manager. He tried the booming dot-com industry as a web producer and quality assurance department head at Dreamlife.com until it busted. He has also worked at Columbia University to try the Academic environment which he finds much to his liking. In Dhaka, in addition to working with D.Net, he teaches basic computing at Adhunika, a foundation dedicated to improving the lives of women.
