US state department scholarship for a Exchange Program: “American Studies Institute 2003” at Washington College , MD , USA

Conferences/Meetings/Seminars :

  • AIESEC: Performed at different leadership role including President of AIESEC NSU for the term 2002-2003. Attended several International and many National Conferences. Also organized CSR symposium jointly with Bangladesh Freedom Foundation with different organization in 2004.
  • U nicef: Organizer of Youth Leadership Forum 1999 , Dhaka
  • Debate: Participated at MMU World Debate Championship 2005, Malaysia . Also participated and organized many national level debate competitions during 1997-2005.
  • HOPE Bangladesh: Established a youth awareness movement to develop adolescent potentials through skill development programs.
  • US-Bangladesh workshop on innovation in windstorm/storm surge Mitigation, Dhaka : Presented a group study paper on the Cyclone Shelters of Bangladesh's coastal area.
  • International youth Jam 2005, Karachi , Pakistan : Represented Bangladesh to attend 3 day long conference on regional youth development issues.
  • SANDEE (South Asia Network of Development Economics & Environment): Volunteer, Mini Workshop and Training 2005, East West University , Dhaka .
  • Boy Scout: Many camping experiences during 1994-1996.
  • Others: Participated and organized in different national and international conferences based on different youth and social issues; Fund rising for flood victims etc.

Professional and other Involvement:

•  IUCN (The World Conservation Network) Bangladesh
Intern; from June 2005-August 2005 Main responsibility was to develop a baseline report on the CSR activities of MNCs in Bangladesh , assisting in different project development work (developing PCP, workshop proposals etc.)

•  Karim Associates
Project Design Coordinator; from September 2003 - March 2004
Developed project profile of Va luka Agricultural Export Park (Proposed) for donors.

•  AIESEC Bangladesh
Director, Member Development; from May 2004 – April 2005 (Member since 2000)
Main responsibility was to design training cycles for members and HR management (evaluation, transition etc.) of the organization. Have experience at working in a multicultural environment. Also, I have conducted selection boards for member recruitment.

Being with AIESEC, I have facilitated several conferences on leadership skill development and strategic training module at both national and international level. I also have rich experience in event management.
