Work Profile:
  • Providing expert opinion on problems of aquaculture, fish production, harvesting, processing and marketing over the Internet and phone;
  • Documenting questions banks;
  • Maintaining call records and performing call analysis;
  • Feeding content development team with new areas of livelihood quires;
  • Develop partnership with different organizations for getting expert consultation;
  • Extensive reading of materials which will facilitate to improve skills of responding question of users;
  • Updating directory database;
  • Prepare document with learning experiences;
  • Participating in preparation of research reports;
  • Performing evaluation of help-line service for further improvement;

Professional Involvement:
January 2001- December 2001: Have been working as a Research Assistant with Fisheries and Marine Resources Technology discipline, Khulna University in a project Fisheries Resources and Stock Assessment in the Sunderban Reserved forest (Component project of Sunder ban Biodiversity Conservation Project executed by Department Of Forestry) in Khulna, Bangladesh.

January 2003 – November 2006 : Have been working as a Fisheries Officer (Marine) with Department of Fisheries in an UNDP-FAO project (Empowerment of Coastal Fishing Communities for Livelihood Security BGD/97/017) in Cox's Bazar Bangladesh .

Professional Training :
August 01st –07th, 2006: Contemporary development Issues. Organized by “Empowerment of Coastal Fishing Communities Livelihood Security Project” an UNDP-FAO project.

April 25th -26th, 2005: Two days training on "Production of Chitosan from Shrimp Shell Wastes" Organized by “Empowerment of Coastal Fishing Communities Livelihood Security Project” an UNDP-FAO project, Conducted by International Consultant from India.

March19th–23rd , 2005: Five days training on FAO- Code of conduct for responsible Fisheries Organized by “Empowerment of Coastal Fishing Communities Livelihood Security Project” an UNDP-FAO project.

August 28th–30th, 2004: Three days training on “Community Based utilization of Better Quality And Higher Income” Organized by “Empowerment of Coastal Fishing Communities Livelihood Security Project” an UNDP-FAO project.

January 1st –11th, 2004 : Eleven days training on “Dynamics of Radio for the members of Coastal Community Radio Unit and Local Participants “ Organized by “Empowerment of Coastal Fishing Communities Livelihood Security Project” an UNDP-FAO Project and conducted by International Consultant from India.

November17th–19th, 2003: Three days training on “Conservation of Coastal Natural Resources and Biodiversity” Organized by “Empowerment of Coastal Fishing Communities Livelihood Security Project” an UNDP-FAO project and Conducted by International Consultant from Srilanka.

November2nd–4th, 2003 : Three days training on “Gender Mainstreaming and Advancement of Rural Women” Organized by “Empowerment of Coastal Fishing Communities Livelihood Security Project” an UNDP-FAO project. Conducted by International Consultant from Srilanka.

October 20th – 23rd, 2003: Four days training on “Participatory Mutual Training and Learning (PMTL)” Organized by “Empowerment of Coastal Fishing Communities Livelihood Security Project” an UNDP-FAO project. Conducted by International Consultant from Malaysia .

March 30th – April 1st, 2003: Two days training on “Participatory Techniques of Agricultural Technology Transfer” Organized by “Empowerment of Coastal Fishing Communities Livelihood Security Project” an UNDP-FAO project and training conducted By Department of Agricultural extension, Bangladesh .
