Mohammad Mosahrrof Hossain Senior Programme Officer

Work Profile:

Providing expert opinion on non-farm economic activities for income generation over the mobile phone,
Internet, e-mail messenger etc.;
Coordinate the team of help-line;
Documenting questions and answer banks using online platform;
Maintaining user questions records and performing analysis;
Feeding content development team with new areas of livelihood quires based on the type of questions villagers
posed;
Developing partnership with different organizations for getting expert consultation on a regular basis;
Extensive reading of materials (mainly internet and other resources) which will facilitate to improve skills of
responding question of users;
Updating online database of service provider's directory;
Preparing document with learning experiences;
Participating in preparation of research reports;
Performing different evaluation processes of the organization for further improvement;
Performing any other task assigned by the management relevant to D.Net's core activities.

Education:

M.S.S (Sociology), National University
DYDW (Diploma in Youth in Development Work), Commonwealth Youth Programme (CYP), University of Huddersfield , U.K & BOU.

Professional Experience:

Hossain has a background in ICT oriented project implementation and worked in a project under Ministry of Women and Children Affairs as an Assistant Programmer (2004-2007). He has worked at Computer setup of Ministry of Food and Disaster Management (1997-2004) and at Abeda Noor Business Management Institute as a Computer Demonstrator (1995-96). He has also worked at Channel F2 Events as a Consultant (IT & Creative) (2007).

H.S.C (Business Management) Teachers Training (Computer), NTRAMS, Bogra (1995).
Network Administration in Microsoft Windows NT-4.0, DIIT, Dhaka .
