1. Human Resource Management
1.1 Recruitment (including salary decision)

      • Receive memo of demand for new human resource from ED/PC/DC;
      • Formation of a RC;
      • Job description and salary package finalization;
      • Preparation for advertisement text;
      • Add in newspapers/web;
      • Call for exam/interview;
      • Selection;
      • Salary negotiation;
      • Appointment letter issue.

1.2 Attendance

      • Entry (Sign & Time);
      • Attendance Status;
      • Exit Entry;
      • Monthly Status Report;
      • Monthly Status Report approval from ED;
      • Send report to Accounts for reflection in Salary Sheet.

1.3 Leave

      • Receive leave application;
      • Fill in the leave status component of leave application form;
      • Submission for authorization;
      • Check with other programs;
      • Authorization of leave application;
      • Approval from assigned authority (See FIG);
      • Inform leave application status (CL, ML)/Letter;
      • Entry in Leave register;
      • Monthly leave register;
      • Send report to Accounts for reflection in Salary Sheet.

1.4 Resignation

      • Receive memo for termination from PC, DC, ED (Regular case);
      • Prior notification of finishing of term for contractual position to PC, DC, ED;
      • Take Approval from ED;
      • Process release;
      • Issue Letter.

1.5 Staff Benefits (Promotion, increment, gratuity, Termination etc.)

      • Memo to ED/EC from HRM;
      • Notify to PC, DC, ED for promotion according to FIG;
      • Take Approval from ED/EC;
      • Issue Letter.

1.6 Attending meeting/seminar/conferences

      • Receive Invitation Letter seeking opportunity;
      • Take advice of PC, DC, ED for nomination and check with budgetary issues (if required);
      • Approval of attendance by ED/EC;
      • Issuing on-duty leave;
      • Placing memo for advance (if required);
      • Issuing check/cash;
      • Joining report.

1.7 Duty Leave Notification

      • Submission of itinerary;
      • Approve from PC, DC, ED;
      • Issue Letter;
      • Joining Report;

2. Logistics

2.1 Procurement

      • Receive memo approved by PC, DC, ED, Logistic In Charge;
      • Receive quotation;
      • Conduct PC meeting to approve;
      • Issue work order;
      • Receive goods;
      • Deliver to store in charge or logistic in charge.

B.Sc. Technology (Hons) in Leather
, Second Class, University of Dhaka , Bangladesh

Academic Researches:
Thesis Paper on “Waterproof Sole Leather”.

Professional Experience:
• Served in the division of wet blue leather processing for one month as a part of 2 nd year study in Amin Tannery.

• Served in the division of crust & finished leather processing for one month as a part of 3 rd year study in Reliance Tannery.

Area of Interest:
Mr. Majedur Rashid’s main area of interest is Leather based research.
