Work Profile:

S.M. Ashraf Abir working as Deputy Director, Media in D.Net. His key responsibility is working as unit leader of IC (Information Communication) material development, design all D.Net's communication materials. Besides his main responsibility he is also working as executive editor of Gunijan. Gunijan is the Human Rights, Gender, culture, Health, Education, Socio Economic initiatives based web journal. This mostly covers life sketch and contributions of eminent personalities of our nation. His main passion is film making. Currently he is studying as a student of Masters in development Studies, East West University, Dhaka and completed his Bachelor degree in Computing and Information System, London Metropolitan University, UK. After participation in one year professional diploma course on multimedia from arena multimedia, worked with different commercial organization and non government organization as commercial or promotional material designer and as information communication material development consultant. Worked as a journalist of www.meghbarta.org, first Bangladeshi bilingual webzine, 1999-2001 and working as a free lance journalist in Bangladeshi various national newspapers. Worked as an editor in a children magazine “Ichchemoto”.
