Work Profile:

• Provide expertise assistance in the field of fisheries (aquaculture, harvesting, post harvesting management, processing, marketing etc.);
• Analyze the problems arisen and delivering solution over telephone or e-mail regarding fisheries among the beneficiaries;
• Development of contents regarding fisheries and new areas of livelihood quires;
• Updating of directory database;
• Participating in preparation of research reports.
• Maintaining records and documentation.

Education:

2005 (December): M.S. in Aquaculture, Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh, Grade “A” , CGPA 3.805 out of 4.00
2002: B.Sc. Fisheries (Hons.), Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh, securing First Class and average marks 63.5%.
1998: H.S.S from Rajshahi Board securing First division and average marks 73.1%
1996: S.S.C from Rajshahi Board securing First division and average marks 81.0%


Professional Experiences:

2008: Handling of clients regarding fish feed trading/fish farming/service provider/experts, providing of expertise support, participation in different promotional activities like seminar, group meeting, and regional networking at New Hope Feed Mill Bangladesh Limited as Executive under Sales & Marketing Department from 01st January, 2008 to 05 July, 2008.
2007: Implementation of project under “Markets and Livelihoods” program of Practical Action Bangladesh at local partner NGOs in Dinajpur District as Market Development Facilitator (MDF) from 13 July, 2007 to 31st December, 2007.
2007: Carrying out aquacultural farm activities at SABINCO (Saudi Bangladesh Industrial and Agricultural Investment Company), BRAC Centre, 75 Mohakhali, Dhaka as Project-in-charge from 17 July, 2005, to 09 July, 2007.

Research Experience:

A research work was conducted titled, “Efficacy of Medicinal Plants against Bacterial Fish Pathogens” and a subsequent Thesis Paper was published as a partial fulfillment of the degree of M.S. in Aquaculture, Department of Aquaculture, Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh
Six months experience in research activities and report writing as Research Assistant at UGC, University Grant Commission and at the Ministry of Science and Information & Communication Technology funded projects from 1st May 2004 to 31st December 2004.
