Work Profile:

Computer Literacy Program' (CLP) sponsored by Volunteers Association for Bangladesh (VAB) - to facilitate access to ICT knowledge by the rural disadvantaged people, particularly youths, with the prime objective to make ICT work for the poor. Under this initiative, 40 computer literacy centers (CLC) in different regions of Bangladesh will be established for the first two years of its operation starting from January 2005. D.Net will set up computers in the CLCs upon successful evaluation of eligibility of the CLC, and will train the local teachers on basic computing, and then they will train the young learners at the centers. Major responsibilities include formulation of guidelines for evaluation of schools to be selected as CLC, Content research supervision, IT skills and infrastructure need assessment in rural areas, reporting to the sponsors, etc. Co-authored in Self study material “Computer Learning Hand Book for rural students” in Bangle language.
