Sponsor a Computer
Learning Center at Your Favorite Childhood School
You may adopt your favorite child-hood school or
any other school of your choice as a Computer Literacy Center (CLC)
site by choosing any of the following options.

Option 1: A CLC with new computers and
hardware

Option 2: A CLC with used computers and
hardware

Option 3: Any amount donation
Option 1: A CLC with new computers and hardware
Sponsor to establish a CLC with new computers and hardware by donating
US$ 2400 (about Tk.1,58,820* at exchange rate of $1=Tk.66.175)
D.Net will furnish a turnkey
computer lab at your chosen site consisting of:
(1) Four new computers, keyboards,
and monitors, one new printer, and all other required electrical
accessories including UPS and voltage regulators,
(2) Three weeks teacher training
and a structured syllabus with teaching and learning aids,
(3) Maintenance of the hardware for
a year, site visits once a quarter to ensure smooth operation of the
lab and all necessary support.
(4) A teacher fellowship (taka 750
each per month) to provide incentive to the teacher.
(5) We will also post up a plaque
at the computer lab to recognize the donor and to memorialize a
chosen person by the donor. An example of the plaque is shown below.

sponsors. D.Net will spend additional amount for monitoring,
refurbishment and other expenditures of the CLCs
Option 2: A CLC with refurbished computers and hardware
Sponsor to establish a CLC with
new computers and hardware by donating US$ 1800
(about Tk.1, 19,115* at exchange rate of
$1=Tk.66.175)
D.Net will furnish a turnkey
computer lab at your chosen site consisting of:
(1) Four refurbished computer,
keyboard, and monitor ( new computers and monitors would be
provided for $2,600 * donation ), one new printer, and all
other required electrical accessories including UPS and voltage
regulators,
(2) Three weeks teacher training
and a structured syllabus with teaching and learning aids,
(3) Maintenance of the hardware for
a year, site visits once a quarter to ensure smooth operation of the
lab and all necessary support.
(4) A teacher fellowship (taka
1,500 – two teachers, taka 750 each per month) to provide incentive
to the teacher.
(5) We will also post up a plaque
at the computer lab to recognize the donor and to memorialize a
chosen person by the donor. An example of the plaque is shown below.

Option 3: Any amount Donation
You may donate any amount for the refurbishment or maintenance
expenditure of the CLCs. Your donated money will contribute to the
strengthening of capacity in different CLCs and enhance the rural
youth's opportunities of computer learning.
