Qualification & Competencies:

• Senior Research Associate: Fresh PhD in Economics/ Statistics/ Public Administration and any other social science disciplines with 1 year work experience at senior level or equivalent position or Minimum Masters Economics/ Statistics/ Public Administration or equivalent with minimum 3 years of total
  
• professional experience, of which 1 year work experience as Assistant Director or equivalent position;
• Research Associate: Minimum Masters in Economics/ Statistics/ Public Administration and any other social science disciplines with minimum one (1) year experience in any business development/ research institution;
• Minimum one publication in a reputed journal;
• Experience in conducting evaluation;
• Knowledge about different types of evaluation methodologies;
• Skills in drafting research papers both in Bangla and English;
• Advanced Skills in using ICT applications (office package both Bangla and English, Internet, e-mail);
• Experience in field visit;

Job Description:

• Designing research and evaluation plan for D.Net’s projects;
• Collecting and analyzing data for monitoring and evaluation purposes;
• Analyzing programme implementation reports and evaluating against established programme recommendations and plans of action;
• Undertaking ongoing visits to D.Net project sites, assess local conditions and resources, and monitor D.Net inputs;
• Communicating with local counterpart authorities on project feasibility and effectiveness including monitoring the flow of supply and non-supply assistance;
• Undertaking follow-up action on programme implementation activities and preparing relevant reports;
• Representing D.Net at various local and international forums;

Starting Salary:

Senior Research Associate: BDT. 18194 + other admissible benefits

Research Associate: BDT. 12425 + other admissible benefits

Working Area: Dhaka, with occasional field visit and travel abroad
