Qualification & Competencies:

• Minimum Masters in Economics / Statistics;
• Minimum one (1) year experience in any business development/ research institution;
• Experience in conducting research work and data analysis;
• Skills in drafting research papers both in Bangla and English;
• Skills in database management and data analysis;
• Advanced Skills in using ICT applications (office package both Bangla and English, Internet, e-mail);
• Experience in field visit;

Job Description:

• Conducting research on business competitiveness, trade and social issues;
• Conducting research and developing content for private sectors, particularly SMEs for facilitating conducting business;
• Developing on-line statistical database of economic, business and trade data;
• Visit and stay at project locations for conducting research;
• Drafting research papers and reports according to strict deadline;

Starting Salary: BDT. 12425 + other admissible benefits

Working Area: Dhaka, with occasional field visit
