Qualification & Competencies:
- Senior Research Fellow: Ph.D in Economics with 4 years of total professional experiences, at senior level or minimum Masters in Economics or equivalent with minimum 8 years of total professional experience, of which 4 years work experience as equivalent position.
- Research Fellow: Ph.D in Economics with 2 years of total professional experiences, at senior level or minimum Masters in Economics or equivalent with minimum 5 years of total professional experiences, of which 2 years work experience as equivalent position.
- Having experience in gender and community empowerment.
- At least two research papers published in reputed journal(s).
- Knowledge in quantitative techniques, econometrics and appropriate software is a must.
Advanced Skills in using ICT applications (office package both Bangla and English, Internet, e-mail).
- Expertise in drafting and report writing skills.
- Experience in field visit.
- Experience in representing the organization in different forums.
Job Description:
- Leading a number of research projects.
- Guiding members of the research teams to accomplish research tasks.
- Pursuing rigorous empirical research and analysis on policy issues.
- Developing relationships with policymaker with research findings.
Preparing research proposals and designing research
- Guiding resource and documentation unit to make it more useful to the D.Net team.
- Building partnership with like-minded organizations for conducting collaborative research at home and abroad.
- Participating in an active outreach and dissemination programme.
